The Old Church on the fringe of Amberley village, just over five miles from Arundel in West Sussex, was among 83 lots in the latest online auction being held by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Sam Kinloch, a Clive Emson director and senior auction appraiser covering Sussex, said the freehold property at The Street, Houghton, attracted “keen interest”.

It was put up for auction with a guide price of £480-£520,000.
At the time, Mr Kinloch said: "We understand this unique detached property was built for the Duke of Norfolk in the 1880s and has recently been used as an antiques retail space."
Set in just under a third of an acre of landscaped gardens, the Old Church has a driveway and the proposed accomodation plans included a living/dining area with a mezzanine galleried area, a kitchen with a vaulted ceiling and three bedrooms at first floor level.
Clive Emson’s next online auction is Wednesday, July 29.
