Coronavirus: Don’t forget charities in Eastbourne
Eastbourne council said it was vital such groups were supported because the vast majority of fundraising events are having to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
A spokesperson said, “Our residents have always been great supporters of charities, even in tough times.

Hide Ad“As more organisations are forced to cancel fundraising events and as shops have to close their doors to the public, we would urge people to go online and explore other ways of supporting them.
“If you are working from home and saving a pound or two on rail and bus fares, perhaps you might consider donating this online.
“And if you are giving up the daily cup of coffee, perhaps that £2.50 could be diverted to one of our wonderful charities?”
