This Brighton pub has been named as one of the top 50 in the UK

Experts have picked their favourites for Sunday lunch, picturesque settings, craft beer, history and more, with The Bevy ticking all of the boxes to land itself in the exclusive guide.
The Bevendean pub was closed in 2010 by police after a number of anti-social incidents but four years later it re-opened as the Bevy after locals bought it and gave it a makeover. Now according to the Guardian Pub Guide, It is now a bright, chilled-out and chatty pub "that is more than just a place for a pint and something to eat".

Hide AdThere is also a cafe and meeting space for local clubs on site as well as music events and quiz nights.
The house favourites are named as Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter, and the Sunday roast, costing just £7.95 if pre-booked. The Bevy at 50 Hillside is open from noon to 11pm.
