Nurse’s bike stolen after 12 hour shift at Bognor War Memorial Hospital
The nurse, who has worked at the hospital for a number of years, said the bike was safely secured when he started work and that, when he left, the chain was cut and the bike was gone.
He said: “We’ve had to work through lockdown, we’ve not had any days off because we’re there to save lives and without us people don’t get treated. So we had no choice but to go to work – and we’re happy with that – but if you want to support us, don’t nick our bikes.”

“I just had this empty feeling when I saw it was gone,” he said. “I used to ride my bike all the time, I used to ride all the way up to Chichester and now I can’t do that any more.”
