Horsham school closes kitchen after confirming coronavirus case

Headteacher of Millais Alison Lodwick said the school was made aware of a member of staff in our school community who had tested positive for COVID-19 early on the morning of Monday October 5.
She added: “As a school we sought the advice of the Department for Education immediately and as a consequence, the staff working in close contact in the catering team were sent home and have been informed that they have to self-isolate for 14 days.”

Hide AdParents were informed of the situation that day and the arrangements for the provision of food as were all teaching and support staff, said Alison.
She added: “The school remains open to all students with all lessons are as normal. However, all students are required to bring a packed lunch each day as our in house catering provision will not resume again until Monday October 19.”
