Twineham school helps families in Belarus
Twineham School has contributed to the Haywards Heath Lions Club shoebox appeal by collecting toiletries to be sent to Belarus.
Every year, the Lions appeal to local schools to contribute toys, clothes, stationary and toiletries to be sent to poor families in Belarus – a country still badly affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster some 26 years ago.
Pictured are some of the children with Leo, the Lions’ mascot.
