International students raise funds for hospice

Cambridge Language and Activity Courses (CLAC) runs over four weeks and students attend from 18 different countries around the world.
The money for the children’s hospice, near Arundel, was raised through profits in their tuck shop and one of the teachers having his head shaved.

Hide AdBeata from Sweden, Alex from Bulgaria, Amar from Bosnia-Herz and Jacopo from Italy had great fun shaving teacher Steven’s hair in aid of the hospice.
CLAC director Anne George went along to the children’s hospice with students Jo from China, Beata from Sweden, Eulalie from France, Alyssa from China, Ivan from Russia and Javier from Spain on Friday.
They handed over a cheque to Caroline Roberts-Quigley, community fundraiser for Chestnut Tree House.
