“This is a once in a lifetime chance for local businesses to benefit from the commercial opportunities presented by such a prestigious global sporting occasion being held on home soil,” says Matt. “We’re keen to ensure that local businesses are not only aware of the wide range of opportunities, but also know what steps they can take to ensure their business takes full advantage of the Games, for both immediate and longer term commercial benefit. And I’m delighted that we’ll be joined on the day by at least one Olympic or Paralympic hopeful whose sheer determination to fulfil their sporting dreams will help to inspire and enthuse our business audience.”
The event will give growing businesses insight and guidance on how to prepare for the challenges ahead and create a sustainable legacy of further growth that will stand them and the region in good stead for years after the Games have ended.
