During a long and varied career, Alison Moyet has sold more than two million albums, with all seven of her studio albums reaching the top 30.
She is particularly known for her bluesy voice, and began her professional career with synth pop duo Yazoo in the 1980s before going solo.

Her album The Minutes , which forms the backbone of the tour that will bring her to the De La Warr Pavilion on March 30 next year, was released in May.
The Minutes went in at number five in the UK Album charts.
This tour places The Minutes centre-stage, but will also focus on the significant electronic material in her back catalogue.
“I’m entirely made up by the brilliant response to my new album,” said Alison. “In truth I love it, so I find them to be right!
